A few weeks back I had the pleasure of having a newborn session with the gorgeous, 8 day old Isabella. She was incredibly well behaved and slept the whole time, we manged to get through so many set ups in this time frame! The thanks goes to her lovely mummy and daddy for following my preparation instructions, which made for an easy session all round. During her session we managed to talk lots with mum especially about Isabella’s daddy, he is a BJC international in the GB squad (judo for those who don’t know what BJC international is) which we were able to incorporate his suit into the photos, which made them more personal to her mummy and daddy. During her session we used soft pinks, purples and neutral colours. I always ask what colours are around the home before hand so that the images will fit in with the décor of the house. She has the most perfect tiny lips I have ever seen, and I will warn you, these photos have cuteness overload!! We used various props in the session, way more than usual with Isabella being supper good!! We managed to get a few photos of Isabella inside the teacup and in the wooden basket. All of which were poses/props chosen by mum and dad. I find it really important to allow mum/dad to see a sample gallery prior to their session to ensure they chose props and poses that they like the most. After all its what mum and dad like best :D After all the photos of Isabella on her own were done we moved on to the parents shots, which I may add Isabella was STILL asleep for!! After a quick outfit change all round for baby, mum and dad we got right to it. This is where we were able to incorporate dad and his judo suit into the photos. Isabella just melted my heart, all nestled and snug, safe in her daddy’s arms...After all she’ll always be safe with her daddy around!! Of course mum joined in with the parent shots too and we captured there first family portrait together <3 Please 'click here' to enquiry about having a newborn session :D
