It’s always such a pleasure to have the opportunity to capture life from the outside. Maternity and pregnancy photography sessions are my favourite To see tiny life growing inside of a lady is something somewhat of a miracle and it truly is one of life’s most beautiful moments. Having a maternity session is a perfect way to document and treasure this journey forever. And what bigger journey to have than creating life! A few weeks back I got the chance to meet and capture these special moments for Khosi and her partner. My main aim is make every woman I see to feel absolutely beautiful with her bump. Khosi was amazing for her session and knew what I wanted her to do before id even asked! Our maternity sessions are tailored to each individual client and all our poses are done in a way to capture the beauty and fine art portraits. I like to ensure that each client is completely comfortable and relaxed with every part and that they always have an idea of how/what happens next. During the session we even got her partner involved and capture some images of them sharing this moment together. Men.. even though we may say it’s ok for you to not be involved but we love nothing more than for you to join in. We capture an array of images which range from bright and colourfully ones, with our special designed tutu’s from Lissi LuLu to the black & white images. Whether it’s indoor or outdoor images you wish to capture this moment in, it’s totally up to you. So why not book a session and take your first steps to capturing this special moment in your life. For more information regarding our maternity sessions please get in touch via our contact us page. At Bumps Baby Beyond we like to capture this precious time between 32/36 weeks pregnant.

Pypers first year photography session - LeicesterOne whole year already?!? You often hear me talking about how special it is to capture certain moments in your baby's life; well this is why… I got to start this journey with Kate, when she announced she was pregnant and asked for a pregnancy time line I knew we would create something special! We captured the stages of pregnancy, as her bump grew and then did a full maternity session at the end. You can click here for the blog to see more images of this. Anyhow before I knew it baby Pyper was born. During her newborn session we had free range as Kate didn't mind what colours we used so we got creative. We still used some neutral shots as these tend to go anywhere with any colour scheme, and also captured some with colour so that they had a range of images. We even got to capture some precious images with her older brother Charlie. Time flew by so quickly and Kate wanted a sitter’s session. These sessions usually take place when babies are just sitting and are at a very inquisitive age. Wait did I just say it, sitting… surely Pyper isn't that old yet?! Yes, indeed she was. She had changed so much in the short few months since her newborn session, she no longer was that sleeping peaceful baby but a baby who was getting ready to move, grabbing her toes, smiling and giggling, the list goes on. Here's a few images from her sitter’s session. aPyper's cake smash? Since when was this little baby turning 1. Oh my gosh, it feels like only 2 minuets ago she was a newborn in our studio let alone coming to see me for a cake smash! For Pyper's cake smash session we went for rainbow butterflies and she wore a lovely pale blue skirt and headband. We managed to capture some lovely images. Pyper loved the camera, gave us tons of smiles, and cute little looks…as well as a funny one!! It's been so lovely to share and capture her first year, it's something we don't often get to see. It just goes to show how much they change and grow in such a short period of time and why every moment is precious. It's an honour to capture these special moments in their lives and help create those memories that last a lifetime. The images I create help keep that memory alive for years and years to come.

Firstly, let me start by saying I got to captured him inside his mummy's tummy! Jasper’s mummy came to me to have a maternity session; it was slightly different than the average maternity session as his mummy is a dancer! So we just had to capture her last time in her ballet shoes before Jasper arrived, which he didn’t make his appearance in the world until almost 2 weeks after his due date!! Just to warm and snug inside his mummy. As a Leicester newborn photographer, I like to offer my clients a combined package to be able to capture both their pregnancy and their gorgeous newborn. Both times are so precious and go so quickly. It's a real honor to capture these moments for mums&dads alike to treasure for years to come. I always keep in contact with my clients to ensure I know when little one has arrived and to ensure we can get them in as soon as possible. In the maternity session we used our gorgeous tutus from the talented Samantha Astill of Lissi Lu Tutus and incorporated mum’s ballet shoes into the images to make for the perfect dancer’s theme. After all mum won’t get the chance to have those images captured like that again. On to the session its self, we managed to capture as much as possible but baby jasper had other ideas, the cheeky monkey. He has been the most alert forward baby we have ever had in the studio, and was a good weight of 9lb 9oz at his session. On saying that we still managed to get some perfect images and even using our brand new outfit; the bear romper!! Couldn’t you just give him a big cuddle with how much cuteness this image really is?!?!
Jasper is truly our very first studio bear!! There has been a lot of firsts for this session, which is truly an honor for us. Maternity & Newborn Photography Session Whetstone, LeicestershireSo I'll start by saying, I just love it when a mum books in for a ‘Bump To Baby’ package - a maternity session and a newborn session. By choosing this package you save £20 from the session fees due to booking in for both at the same time. Anyhow the main reason I love them is because you get to capture mum at the most beautiful time and you also get to meet the little bean that's been growing in their belly. This is what Lauren and Will did. They came along for their maternity session and we captured some lovely personal photos of them both. We then moved on to dark and seminude to really capture Lauren's beautiful bump. When Lauren messaged to say she had a baby called Aurora weighing 8lb exact. we just couldn't wait to meet her. Aurora was 9 days old at her session and was an absolute dream for us. It helped that mum & dad allowed us to use her dummy during the session as this can help just to settle baby after being moved. We provide new/sterilised dummies for our newborns that don't have one with them at mum & dad's discretion just to help with settling baby after being moved and positioned. For this session mum & dad wanted neutral colours but to tie in a bit of pink, and of course for a gorgeous little girl some headbands. Here's our most neutral set up which we also use on a digital background to create this image in the swing. As you can see it's the same pose and one image but we can create two set ups from it. During this session we also use our phone tripod to be able to record mini videos to show future clients what will happening during session, this gives clients the heads up so they know what to expect. We also feature these on our YouTube channel to show how we pose baby and how newborn safety is top priority for us and that there is always somebody with baby. Baby Aurora was so good for us we have got a fair few she will be featuring in. We take out Newborn Sessions bookings after your 20 week scan, and are currently booking sessions up to December 2017. We do, however; sometimes have last minute availability so please do 'get in touch' if your baby is due any day or if you have a baby under 2 weeks old.
Beautiful Royal – Bump to Baby Photography Session LeicestershireWell what can I say about Royal's Newborn session. Firstly, I got to capture him whilst he was still inside his mummy's tummy! Royal's mummy and daddy booked in with me for a Bump to Baby session and I love, love, love seeing my maternity clients come back with their precious little bundles. As a Leicester newborn photographer, I like to offer my clients a combined package to be able to capture both their pregnancy and their gorgeous newborn. Both times are invaluable, youll never get this time back and they will never sit so small and snug in your arms again; it goes so quickly. It's a real honour to capture these moments for mums and dads, a moment to treasure for years to come. In their maternity session we managed to capture a few outdoor images with our gorgeous tutus from the talented Samantha Astill of Lissi Lu Tutus. We were so glad we managed to avoid the rain and didn't have to much glare from the sun. Once we had done these we popped back to the studio to get some more up close and personal ones. It was extra important to mum and dad to capture these special moments, little did they know what special day their little boy would come. I always keep in contact with my clients to ensure I know when little one has arrived and to make sure we can get them in as soon as possible. Royal was our first ever Christmas Day baby! Yep that's right, he was born on Christmas Day, not only that but he was the FIRST baby of the day to be born, and featured in the Leicester Mercury. Of course we had to include a Christmas set up, there was no question about it! After all he is a Christmas baby truly is the best present of all. This made it extra special for mum and dad as Royal shares his birthday with Jesus Christ. We always like to incorporate some special into our images that make them more personal to the family. Whether this be a teddy they've been bought, a hat/bonnet or in this case a bible. Mum and dad are btoh religious and we manage to incorporate this into a few of Royal's photos. The most amazing features are the little details... Enough of me rambling even though I could go on for hours about this beautiful little boy! Here's just a few of my favorite photos from Royal's session. For more information about our newborn sessions please click here.
Taking bookings up till July 2017. Welcome to the world baby Jesse – Bump to Baby Photography Session Leicestershire Being a Leicestershire newborn photographer I have found people tend to travel from Nottingham, Birmingham, Nuneaton Loughborough, so I was so excited when I found out Lotte was pregnant, I went to school with her and her sister, Molly (who contacted me to book her sisters session as a surprise!) so I’d not seen either of them for at least 15 years! As a Bump to Baby Session was booked we did both maternity and newborn images which I love! There’s something so beautiful about a pregnant lady, they really are glowing an di love to meet their little bumble a few weeks later! Lotte had sent me some images that she had seen and we tried to re-create some of those for her, and used a lovely cardi for this and did a veriety of outfits. Jesse was so eager to meet his mummy & daddy that he decided he didn’t want to wait for mum to finish for her last day of work and wanted to make his appearance then! Mum made her way to hospital and gave birth to her beautiful baby boy weighing just 5lb 1oz. As mummy and Jesse were doing really well they didn’t need to stay in hospital long (thankfully as Christmas was fast approaching) and they were allowed to leave and show Jesse his new home. And quite literally, it was their new home; they had moved in only weeks before. Lotte had seen an image that she loved on our sample gallery, we send this out when doing your bespoke consolation to ensure we get the right images for you. She had chosen an image of a hanging basket over water and in a big bowl with feathers…this is a composite and below you can see how we achieve the final look of this. Whilst Jesse was nice and snug in his beautiful little outfit that Debbie Booth had made us we changed the colour of the fabric and laid some fluff down – mum and dads requests were neutrals and grey. Jesse was so good for us an donly needed one feed so after he had a nice full tummy we carried on and took some beautiful images of him tucked up nicely in our little bed, we used a beautiful bonnet made by the amazing Alice Rose.
