Hello All I’ve had a lovely start to the New Year with a maternity portrait session yesterday – what a better way to celebrate then photographing someone with a new life inside of them! There is always lots of work taking place behind the scenes here and it’s very satisfying when orders are completed and received by happy families. Thank you for all the wonderful feedback and comments, they are very much appreciated. I strive for a high standard in my products and finished images with care and time taken to prepare each one individually. Photographs are a glimpse into our memories and ones that can be looked on for years to come. It’s a privilege to be asked to capture pregnancy portraits and it is one of the most enjoyable parts of my work particularly as these are so often part of my maternity and newborn photography packages so I get to return to meet the new arrival shortly after! I realise that this is a very personal time in peoples lives and I feel lucky to be a part of that for a brief moment to create a lasting memory. Stunning top from Newborn Baby Posing These photos were taken at my home venue in Whetstone, Leicester, which is ideal for the messy sessions like the glitter and paint we used! We tried to incorporate the colours and theme to match the sex of her baby and of course…red matches her hair J
While being pregnant can be a trying and often at times an uncomfortable experience, there are moments when being pregnant feels so magical and thrilling that we never want it to end. One thing is for certain: there’s no other experience in life like it. You often hear people say ‘theres a glow about pregnancy’ and there right! This special moment captured on camera are something you can treasure for ever, although nine months feel like a lifetime when your carrying you will soon look back and think where did the time go! Anyway enough of me rambling, please see the gorgeous Emma below!

This was my first ever photoshoot and I was very nervous about doing it although I had no need to feel that way at all, as soon as I arrived I felt I was with a friend. The results are amazing (I don't normally like photos of myself), and so special to me. It was so much fun and there were giggles and great conversation. I am defo hoping to get some newborn shots when my princess arrives. Thankyou so much :-) xx
