Ladies and gentlemen, today I have the distinct privilege of introducing you to baby Freddie who's officially 8 days new!
I think we can all agree his characteristic smile should earn him a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Hes so cute that I have in fact used one of his images in Bumps Baby Beyond’s magazine!
Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, Freddie and I had one of the best sessions together. His mum, Becky, did a fantastic job of preparing for the session. Her preparation efforts allowed us to have an especially awesome shoot together.
Freddie slept most of the way through the three hour session. And when he wasn't sleeping, Freddie was calm and relaxed. He couldn't have been any better behaved! Considering he had a lot of people around to him contend with as all of his brothers and sisters were home when doing the session.
Because the shoot went so well, I asked Becky if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session (See – I've got your back, mums around the world). Her biggest piece of advice is:
‘To try and keep your baby awake as long as you can before the session. Freddie is generally quite a sleepy baby but I’d heard so many of my friends say that their little one was awake for most of the session as they couldn't get them to stay awake beforehand. Therefore I did everything I could to keep him up for two hours before and it did the trick! I had a happy sleepy baby for most of his session.’
I can’t wait to see how baby Freddie grows and changes in the upcoming months! I get to shoot his adorable smile every few months with my milestone package I am so excited to see this little man in a few months’ time!
Without further adieu, Master Freddie
