It gives me great pleasure to announce Bumps Baby Beyond has teamed up with Pregnancy Art by Cassandra Stephens. Sandra creates truly eye capturing designs which are created around your unique requirements. You would have a pre session consolation to go over colour schemes, design ideas and themes, this will allow us to create a bespoke painting for you. The session: Session timings will depend on what sort of design we are planning, your time frame will be given to you when we have the pre-session consultation. Once we have confirmed the image it will be hand painted onto your growing bump. When to have them done: Pregnancy Art is usually done around 32 weeks as the canvas is usually big enough but you are not 'too' uncomfortable. However we do offer a three stage bump painting session - this includes three separate paintings, painted at each stage of your pregnancy around week 18, week 26 and week 34. The idea is to have a growing image J It could be a seed, sapling, blossomed tree... caterpillar, cocoon then a butterfly, a jigsaw slowly revealing your baby or even a growing baby starting at your scan photo! Having the split images would make a fabulous wall art piece - we should embrace our baby bellies and being pregnant. You don’t need to have ‘perfect’ skin, Pregnancy Art is suitable for all, if you’re feeling a bit deflated about your changing body and pregnancy scars then what better way to celebrate that there’s life growing inside you and what your body is currently doing IS amazing and is something to be proud of. Just so you are aware you will not be able to see stretch marks once your bump is painted.
Please rest assure the paints that we use are specifically designed for the use on the face and body and conform to EC standards for cosmetics. We are currently doing a facebook offer to celebrate Bumps Baby Beyond and Pregnancy Art coming together to offer a complete service. The limits are endless so please contact us to book a session.
