Size Does Matter…When it Comes to Wall Prints

What better way to treasure the first moments of your family than with personalised artwork for the walls of your home? As well as keeping your baby’s images close to your heart with albums and digital prints, you can include wall art in your collection to preserve these memories in a unique and custom display.

To help you get started, here’s a brief guide to planning your wall art and prints:

• First, identify the rooms in which you would like to hang your images. These might include your baby’s nursery, your own bedroom and your living room

 

• Next, measure the size of wall you’d like to hang your art on to give yourself a rough idea of how much area you will be working with

 

• Using your measurements as a guide, your next decision will be whether to opt for a single photograph or a grouping of images. If you would prefer the former, you can opt for a newborn collection that includes the canvas or wall print in the size of your choice. Alternatively, you can order a wall print or canvas separately in several different sizes such as 16 x 20 inches, 20 x 24 inches, 24 x 30 inches and 30 x 40 inches.  If none of these sizes quite fits your space, we have plenty of other sizes to choose from

 

• If you would prefer a grouping of images, we would be more than happy to design a personal arrangement that fits your spaces and incorporates your favourite images. Some examples includes three canvases at 16 x 24 inches, which can be placed side by side or in a vertical row. Three 10 x 12 inch canvases hang next to a larger, 24 x 32 inch image which look great when arranged in a square. Let us know what finished effect you are hoping to create and we will be more than happy to creative a custom design just for you!

 

• Finally, decide which product would look best with your decor. Gallery-wrapped canvases create the impression of a timeless work of fine art, while our wall prints are ready for framing and provide clarity and polished finish

 

• Once you have made your choice, you can let us know before the session. If you do, we can discuss the types of shot that you would like to see and even complement your decor with our selection of props and clothing. Don’t worry if you’ve made your decision after the session is over and you’ve had a chance to see you images. Of course – we make sure to capture a wide range of angles and poses, so you will always have plenty to choose from
